I've always thought Geoduck sounded like a pokemon, but actual geoducks are neither geo-themed nor ducks.

(So maybe just go with Gooeyduck, a noxious slimy bird that pollutes the rivers and lakes it lives in with its toxic secretions. Evolves into Waterfoul.)

You need Hollandaise for Eggs Benedict, the bestest brunch.

You know what makes that even better? Dump the damn eggs and eat something tasty for brunch instead. (Yes, yes, everyone here not named Mightyblue disagrees with this sentiment.)

The best way to prepare eggs that is both exceptionally tasty and pretty straightforward is "over medium, topped with cholula"

We should have a brunch thread.

I stand corrected, I neglected the clear and obvious superior choice.

Also a fan of the low-heat long-stir scramble (a la the sickass pretty good video about the devry basketball team)

I love scallops, I like mussels, I hate oysters. I'm actually not sure where I land on clams, come to think of it. I've enjoyed the geoduck I've eaten before quite a bit.

It's a texture thing. Oysters raw are too soft and mushy and slimy. Mushy or sticky/gooey foods make up most of the very few foods I dislike, and I dislike them ever so much. Oysters cooked are better, oysters fried are better still, but none of them ever quite clear the hump of "would seek this out to eat on purpose."
